MHT CET Test paper for physics

MHT CET physics section is designed to test the candidate's understanding and application of the basic principles of physics. The section consists of 50 multiple-choice questions, and you will be given 90 minutes to complete the section.

Here are some topics you should focus on while preparing for the physics section of MHT CET:

Mechanics: This section includes topics like laws of motion, work, energy, power, rotational motion, gravitation, etc.

Thermodynamics: This section includes topics like the laws of thermodynamics, the kinetic theory of gases, heat transfer, etc.

Electromagnetism: This section includes topics like electric charges and fields, capacitors, electric current, magnetic effects of current, electromagnetic induction, AC circuits, etc.

Optics: This section includes topics like reflection, refraction, lens, mirror, wave optics, etc.

Modern Physics: This section includes topics like the dual nature of matter and radiation, atoms, molecules, nuclei, semiconductors, etc.

Here are some tips for preparing for the physics section of MHT CET:

Study the basics: Make sure you have a clear understanding of the basic principles of physics. This will help you solve complex problems and understand the concepts better.

Practice previous years' question papers: Solve as many previous years' question papers as possible. This will help you get a feel of the exam pattern and the type of questions asked.

Use reference books: Use reference books to get a better understanding of the concepts. Some good reference books for physics include "Concepts of Physics" by H.C. Verma, "University Physics" by Freedman and Young, etc.

Time management: Manage your time well during the exam. Do not spend too much time on a single question. If you are unsure about a particular question, move on to the next one and come back to it later.

Practice online mock tests: Practice online mock tests to get a better understanding of the exam pattern and to improve your speed and accuracy.

Remember, practice makes perfect. So, make sure you practice regularly and stay focused during the exam. Good luck!
